This new design with the Round Disk provides the following
improvements over previous designs:

The larger Round Disk provides an advantage on weak
materials by spreading the fastener's tensile load
over a larger area.

The extreme ejection on 4639-CR55-xxx-Z3CT stud assemblies
is a special advantage on curved or sliding panels.
-
This Hex/Slotted RACEX® stud assembly has a slot and
hex recess allowing for operation with either a standard
screw driver or a hex key.
-
Use of a hex key reduces the likelihood of slipping and
damaging the surrounding panel.

The 4639-24945-xxx-14S-PAS weld plate has a stud entry hole especially designed
to accept the 4639-CR55-xxx-Z3CT stud assembly. Extra length permits bending
to fit a variety of applications.
